DV Group Participates in ScienceQuest 2011

The DV group participated in the ScienceQuest 2011 for area high school students. The event was targeted for tenth and eleventh graders. The intent is for them to visit UMass Amherst, engage in hands-on activities and interact with the faculty. The DV group hosted a demo, in which the students and teachers made photovoltaic cells using household chemicals. The highest voltage recorded today was 179mV.
