On October 27, 2012, the DV Group participated in ScienceQuest 2012 to introduce high school students to activities at UMass. DV explained the inner workings of a solar cell. The students then constructed a solar cell using household chemicals. [Photos]

In Researchfest 2012, Sravan received the Marvin Rausch Scholarship for outstanding oral presentation for his talk on “Apical Functionalization of Heterohelicenes” and Dana received the William E. McEwen award for outstanding poster presentation. Congratulations to Sravan and Dana.
At 12:15 p.m. on Aug 3, 2012, Nag’s committee approved his Dissertation titled “Breaking the Barriers of All-Polymer Solar Cells: Solving Electron Transporter and Morphology Problems”.
