Marco Eres, an undergraduate researcher in the DV Group has been awarded the 2014 Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education. Marco is a Junior and a participant in the iCons Program at UMass Amherst. He works on fabricating nanostructures of conjugated molecules. Congratulations Marco!
Tim Gehan was awarded the 2014 Eugene M. Isenberg Scholar Award. This award was established by Eugene and Ronnie Isenberg to recognize graduate students with demonstrated academic merit and a commitment to integrate science with management. Congratulations Tim!

Uche Anyanwu, the first member of the DV group, passed away on Feb 21 at around 12:45 am. He lost his bravely fought battle with thymoma. He graduated from the DV Group in 2005 and was awarded Ph. D. for his work on “Soluble Polymer-supported Catalysts and Initiators” (Link to Read more…
