Eric Schott and John Charest Win Chemistry Awards
Undergraduate researchers Eric Schott and John Charest will be recognized with Chemistry Awards for their academic and research accomplishments. Eric Schott will receive the Richard W. Fessenden Memorial award. According to the citation, “This award was established by the class of 1908 to be awarded to a senior chemistry major “who best exemplifies the twin attributes of high scholarship and citizenship within the chemistry department.” John Charest will receive 2014 ACS Division of Organic Chemistry Undergraduate Award Read more

Marco Eres wins 2014 Goldwater Scholarship
Marco Eres, an undergraduate researcher in the DV Group has been awarded the 2014 Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education. Marco is a Junior and a participant in the iCons Program at UMass Amherst. He works on fabricating nanostructures of conjugated molecules. Congratulations Marco!
